Here in the states, one may think that I have more of a place in the ranks of conservatives, but I'm not so sure. It doesn't seem possible to say one is against double standards in society, while they are less likely to accept things like homosexuality for one example. After all, I believe the double standard for men being unaccepted for acting or dressing feminine goes back to the attitude of homophobia itself. So it's kind of ironic how most people on the right will oppose men-bashing feminism, but not accepting homosexuality. I seem to be in a battle with either one or the other.
