Here's an interesting thing to consider about Christianity

Could the entire religion be inspired by the death experience of someone undergoing a cruel crucifixion? We know a lot of this particular faith centers on the crucifixion of a human being. What if it is the collective experience of the crucified and what they saw while they underwent that horrible fate? Some who were crucified managed to find comfort and freedom from pain so this inspired the idea of salvation and grace?
Such horrible acts must have left a profound wound in the psyches of those witnessing them.
