Gotts say it depends on the subject. So if a church wants to allow a marriage in their church: Its their desicion.

When it comes to marriation by law, i didnt know first, why so many people were discussing about it. So from my oppinion i did not need marriage to have a partner. The problem starts when a couple lives a life long together in love, and then one of them dies.

So in heterosexual partnerships, its completely normal by law, that your married partner will have special rights accroding the flat or the house, where they lived together and so on. But when you are homosexual you dont. So if the family of your died partner hates you, they can terrorize you. There are other things, like that when you are in hospital, you want get information when you are no relative.

So from my oppinion, you must not call it marriage if so many people are disturbed by it. Call it partnership contract or whatever. But when a couple, that lives since 30 years together must endure much worser circumstances than another couple, living together since 30 years, only because in one of the partnership both have the same sex, its not fair in my oppinion. So you can make a testament and a last will, but in europe you still have to pay much more inheritance taxes, if you are no close relative.

That makes you a person who is against gay marriage. So its a free country, so as long as you are only telling your private oppinion and not trying to get other people to do violent acts, everything is just fine. :)

I would need to understand your reasoning in order to pass any sort of judgement on you.

You are being silly. What do you care if consenting adults bugger each other?

Damn and blast!

I'm against gays getting married; I'm against straights getting married. I don't think anyone should be allowed to get married in law. I believe in civil partnerships for all, so religious institutions can call it whatever they like (marriage included), but it won't be marriage. It'll just be civil partnership. The same benefits and arrangements will accrue for everyone.

Am I a homophobic bigot or just not funny?

What has the subject of gay marriage to do with adults buggering each other?

You seem very interested in the subject of buggery, ruveyn. Are you sure you're not a Christian religious nut?
