I read once that in some country some stupid politicians banned boxing in relation to minors, even though he is not keen to put it mildly, I believe that the government should not f ing in someone life.

I read that when the sport was banned in that country (i forgot the name of that country :-( ) friendly man from local mob helped to organize their own contest

So stupid government not achievement nothing aside losing tax revenue  (with is good)

Governments are making so much things illegal with no actual reason that it highly restricts choices of people. Prohibitions bring crime, not vice versa.

Who won of alcohol prohibition in US? Mafia. Who is winning of prohibition of prostitution? Mafia. Prohibition of drugs and marijuana? You know the answer, mafia if gaining money and power for this. There are places where abortions are illegal - and despite that they are done numerously, but with zero safety guarantee. Is this good for people? Again, no.

We need much less number of laws and restrictions - and that is what I amd establishing in my Kingdom of Westeria (westeria.org). When we'll get piece of land, for example the Island we are now fighting for against New Zealand, there would be only th most required laws, small and easy to follow, without any unnecessary restrictions turning normal and completely natural things illegal.

Well thankfully weed's gonna be legal here where I live in just a few days. Maybe it's the proverbial "light at the end of the tunnel".

Government can't control human behaviour, you can't eliminate demand by making it illegal. Demand will always be met, whether it is thru legitimate means or thru the black market.
