The Far Side Of Paradise
No, I am not talking about the afterlife, but the here and now. The Chinese love their gardens and seem to want a paradise on earth. They have come close, although they are missing something in my opinion. What would your idea of paradise be? No, you may not have 70 plus virgins. It maybe only be my opinion, but that would be pretty well self defeating. One woman is enough for me, thanks. You can choose a 100 Ferraris, but the downside of owning just one is enormous.
But really, would have a true paradise on earth, here and now, be a good idea?

-Live in an entire upper floor at a casino (like Howard Huges)
-sufficient money to gamble at will
-sufficient money for shopping, food, and shows at will
Gambling is mentally exhausting. It's a challenge to have firm self-control despite your emotions. It's so mentally exhausting that you may "mentally escape" and forget about your life while gambling.
I find it reminiscent of when I was psychotic and my mind "escaped" into delusional thought. The exhaustion/thrills/ups/downs/emotions of it makes life seem less ordinary which provides me with much pleasure.
