Coca-Cola came to Colombia
Seeking lower wages
They got just what they came for
But as we turn the pages
We find the workers didn't like the sound
Of their children's hungry cries
So they said we'll join the union
And they began to organize

So Coke called up a terrorist group
Called the AUC
They said "we've got some problems
At the factory"
So these thugs went to the plant
Killed two union men
Told the rest, "you leave the union
Or we'll be back again"

Now Coke did not complain
About this dirty deed
Why give workers higher wages
When Coke is all they really need
They phoned the AUC
Said "thanks, without you we'd go broke
And to show our appreciation

i'm drinking a coke while i read this thread....i had mcdonald's the other day so i can't be consuming that....

So am I but McDonald's gives me stomach problems Coke is the Water of Life how can you blaspheme it so

I'm drinking a Coke as I read this I would guess all large multi-national corporations do shady things. So if you really want to do the right think drink a class of tap water.

Only when pepsi is so outnumbered. I mean really, is it any big accomplishment for a gang of any group to beat up one person?

My current preference is RC Cola better than Pepsi or Coke. Pepsi, by a lot. Coke, by not so much, but still better.

Coke gave Pepsi a chance to gather a gang, but Pepsi didn´t have any friends to fight with.

actually my true drinks of choice are barq's rootbeer (coke company product) and jolt cola (wet planet product).

I like Henry Weinhard's root beer the best.

i never said i like it the best....barq's is kinda like a standard that you can always go back to...sure there are better boutique root beers but of the mass produced nationally available ones...it's the best to me. i can always have it and always enjoy it.
