I think I've decided that I need neither religion nor science to carry out my life. I dislike them for pretty much the same reasons:

1. They change over time
2. They tend to complicate life
3. In the end, both are a bit depressing and not very helpful on an individual level

The way I was explaining to my friend is "I don't need to know how something works, I just need to know that it works." And as Douglas Adams once said, "Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?"

Don't neglect SCIENCE. Without science I would have never found out I have Asperger. I would be an NT that would need to be fixed. I would be closed minded, arragant while my knows open mindedness knows know bound. I would be Lazy, while mever missing a day of work.

If you turn you back in science you will be turning your back on the answers.

Do you want NTs to give you advice about the truth.

They are similar on a lot of other bases as well. For example, they both require some level of faith.

Science is acceptable up to a point. So is religion. I trust science mostly as far as health concerns and preserving the planet. I trust religion only as far as some basic morals and understanding of other people.

A problem with both is that people always try to push some kind of "truth" on you. I don't need someone else to tell me about "truth".
