I am feeling lonely. Nobody has accused me of bieng some sort of "ist" here. I been posting over two years here. I all that time have I not posted one politically incorrect thing, not one microagressive thing that has offended social justice worriers and sent them scurrying to the nearest safe space?

ASPartofMe, I had to read that a couple of times to get that maybe this is said with a little sarcasm? Or are you actually feeling lonely?

The whole issue of political blame/hurt is tricky at least for me, because of this hard-learned fear of "saying the wrong thing" accidentally. I know a lot of us worry about that. So often I'll finally get comfortable and say something that I think is insightful or funny, and then find out the hard way that it was inappropriate or caused someone hurt. In political topics, it's hard to ever be right.

Said with a little sarcasm but also a little true fear I might be too politically correct in my postings. Since this was posted on Christmas Day I wanted a little levity in the post.

You are a person who wants people to understand what people went through when their autism was undiagnosed.

You just want understanding from the general society...whom you feel don't make attempts at understanding.
