I am a theist, but I'd be a liar if I didn't admit that there are an abundance of atheists among my brother and sister Aspies.

I am somewhere between theist and agnostic theist, although I am technically Catholic.

True Agnostic, no pull towards either theism of atheism, it's not a fence.

It has been frequently noted that the Buddha himself advocated true Agnosticism when he proclaimed that one should neither deny nor affirm the existence of any God.

Hm, that's interesting, didn't know that. Buddhism has been on my mind for a while now, I think I might look into it more now.

Buddhism is the most science friendly religion. Many of its concepts, such as impermanence (the fact that all of reality is in a constant flux) parallel many scientific facts and principles.

Whoever started this thread, you want to change the poll item agnostic theist to Deist, since Deists, like Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson and George Washington believed that there is a God, but after he created created the world, and everything therein, he stood back and left Nature take its course and let humans to their own devices. (Which, to my mind, is sorta the definition of agnostic theism, and yes, I view agnosticism as a semi repudiation of a supreme being, AKA JHWH).

The poll options are not degrees of religious intensity, they are degrees of faith.

Faith and religion are not the same thing.

Faith is the measure of how much you believe in a supernatural, supreme being.

Religion is how you express that faith (i.e., Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, et cetera).

You can have a large amount of faith, but abhor religion - a.k.a. Spirituality.

You can have no faith at all, but be very religious - a.k.a. Hypocrisy.

I have no faith there is a God/gods, etc. at this point.

Though I'm agnostic in that I don't totally preclude something which is "beyond" the purely physical.

It would be nice if there were a Heaven, though!

I'm an atheist. Nothing has provided me a compelling reason to believe in the divine, and in the absence of evidence this makes the most sense.

Exactly. Religion does not hinge on a belief or no belief in a creator god being alone. I consider myself religious, and most of the time, an atheist, though I do relax into more sane agnosticism in rare moments where I get over myself.

Atheist.

Also, Buddha didn't know what we now know. It's no longer reasonable to say there is no evidence against the existence of god.
