there are two other theories...but what is known is that he was sickly and had a snake oil quack guru in charge of his care.

I mean how often is death penalty fought for bombers and shooters that survive arrest by saying they were in Roid Rage/BiPolar/Medication interraction/Drunk/Intoxicated unwillingly? even they were treated bad as kids......

Hitler had a LOT of Power so killed a lot of people. But the premise remains the same.

What if the charismatic guy that was in charge starting 1921 and actually well liked by international leader at that time; was verifiably "not himself" by 1938. Maybe he really WAS unhinged by the death of Rath by a Polish Jew who shot him while handing out leaflets?

I am by no means some kin of apologist or supporter of the genocide an horror that prompted the support of starting WW2

I am supposing this because I'm really sick of hearing the excuse of the day selectively used for killers, who often really did not have anything wrong with them pother than being self centered, spoiled evil fks. It use to be alcohol made me do it! but that didnt work after a while. Age made me not judge it 4 months before I would be recognized adult. Oh I was bi polar. I was abused...... in distant past by someone else. Oh I was on steroids. Oh I was on "x" meds. I was sleepwalking. I was hypnotized. Oh I was under alien control!

I won't argue that there are not real cases of mental illness. I will far better believe they had no clue when victims are truly random.

Roid rage is old news, I can't believe they are even trying it in recent tragedy. Recent NEJM finds it nearly non existent and the newest study, no premeditation and often with other drugs. Lena Studle-somthiung in Sweden is finding the multi drug abuse. It definitetly is not a condition for premeditation. It is a chok your wifein teh kitchen during arguement road rage. Not premeditation.
BiPolar and Autism are the catch word lately. used to be "was abused child" and so on for each few years as the dx for the day excused premeditated killings. : c

Hitler himself wasn't exactly kind to people with mental illness.

if Adolph Hitler was alive today, he would be 127 years old.

Speculating on the impossible ...

A modern day Hitler clone would be very popular as a politically incorrect person who can get things done that needs to be done. His plan to deport all Jews to Israel would gain traction.

The clone as is the real historical person would be suspected of bieng an Aspie. Autism is not on the SJW wing of the progressives radar at the moment. This would change if a modern day Hitler clone is thought of as autistic. SJW's Progressives would thus see Aspies as a threat. The exacting, blunt language Autistics tend to use would be seen as an impediment to thier designs of language control. Proposals would be made to register Autistics as it would be argued we are a terror threat.

I don't think most Americans, these days, would take to Hitler's program.

I'm surprised Trump's comment about Muslims hasn't gotten him more flak.

Trump is a progressive with a big New Yorker mouth. He is playing the live feed tweet platform. But I am always aware who he has been all along. He is not gonna fire up the gas chambers. He will only get to close immigration a while and maybe deport a third realistically.

But I was just wondering on it... if Hitler's Germany rose in this millenium, and he was "found" lacking in faculty if he would be consider a sick man that had power and abused it as opposed to being well "Hitler"

Like I wonder if we had a Zombie Apocalypse and terminated a zombie if his advocate would say he/it was a victim and that he was animae challenged or necrotically impaired?

LAWL teh Twinkie Defense! I HAD forgotten >_<

Who knows: if Hitler were given a "free pass," he might have been accepted into that art college he so desperately wanted to attend.

After his rejection by the art college, Hitler went into a deep depression, and started listening to, and reading, anti-Semitic content. Looking for a scapegoat after this rejection, and after only making Corporal during World War I, he found the Jews to be convenient, indeed.

Hitler DID get a "free pass". He never faced any courtroom for his crimes as it happened anyway. So the question doesnt make any sense.

In the words of historical revisionists, the Holocaust sounds like the trial and deportation of migrants without national loyalty, interrupted due to financial sabotage, food insecurity, and war fought on many fronts. He is alleged to be the social-utilitarian answer to a long period of demoralization, in secular terms.

For that matter, anyone running a prison, asylum, or POW camp could be called a victim of circumstances, if you tend to regard the players in abstract terms.

But, Hitler and I did have religious biases, afterall.

As I read the news, they were first resented for being murderers, drunks, rapists, and welfare leeches. Then, they were resented for participating and being successful. When they are family people, they are accused of marriage fraud or hiding behind underage, human shields. Without calling all of them unconditionally blameless, when they can do no right, that is a bias.

We have comparable biases and economic conditions, to be fair.

What about Himmler, Goebbels and Goering etc should they be given a kinda gauze to hold up to their actions, zeal and beliefs throughout their lives, the whole system was rancid and skewed, what happened at the end of world war 1 sowed the seeds for germany coming back with a vengeance, the whole country was looking for something to pin their misery upon and Hitler was the lightning rod. I don't wholly disagree with what he did in return to France who absolutely humiliated them, Hitler didn't have a particularly great time in that conflict, paying France back was only one tangent of his grotesque masterplan though, it was made up of so many fascinating pieces, I like to go through his motivations and the various folk involved in the structure and look at it all... if Hitler had been saner he would've made less mistakes as the war went on though, the allies supposedly rejected the idea of assassinating him. Eugenics wasn't an alien thing back then either, even america had got stuck into it, hitler took it to new heights evidently.

Hitler might have become insane toward the end because of all the junk drugs his doctor was giving him and because of the stress Der Fuhrer was under (his world was falling apart around him quite literally). However before Germany started losing there was nothing insane about Hitler. He may have been evil, he may have been a monster, but he was in touch with the world around him. So Hilter as he was in 1939 would have been given a bill of mental health by any competent psychiatrist.

A genocidal dictator who was found to be severely mentally ill (e.g. having extremely vivid hallucinations that made them believe the world was fundementally different) would be hated in the way that Hitler was, but perhaps not seen as quite as morally responsible.

In practice, I think such a person would be desposed quite quickly.

You would hope.....

Similar (but by no means identical) to what occurred with Hitler's attainment of his Chancellorship in 1933, people are merely looking for an "alternative" to the "established' order." Apparently, this "alternative' is realized in the person of Donald Trump.

Trump is not a genocidal maniac---but here are totalitarian tendencies in what he is doing and espousing.

People should not vote for an "alternative" merely because it is an "alternative." We should have learned that lesson with Hitler, who was merely an "alternative" to the previous Weimar government.

Trump made fun of a person's physical deformity and called out John Stewart Leibowitz, by name.

He used the system to gainsay hecklers and displace the elderly.

Triumphalism and assholish hair, I can cope with; personality conflicts are not the issue.

fwiw, I am generally regarded as white. I have a big, hairy chest, shoes which take a shine, am fairly blunt and well regarded by fascistic types.

My problem is that you can participate in good faith and not win, sometimes, as a matter of capricious choice, that is the role of executive authority.

I'm not calling that a form of insanity, btw. He's leveraging the parts and pieces available to him, to achieve a desired result. Even when NT people lie their butts off, to railroad people, and hide behind sometimes-fake emotions, that's not crazy, but purposeful.
