http://www.politicususa.com/2016/03/31/ ... false.html

The article is from last month. I will admit I'm not familiar with the site, but 91 percent is a bit high.

according to them Hillary is the most truthful candidate running ahahahahahaah a

Politifact is a partisan website ran by the liberal Tampa Bay Times, try digging into those supposed lies and you'll see how stupid they are. They'll rate a joke made by a Republican as pants on fire false but have something serious completely made up by a liberal as some Dan Rather-esqe 'false but accurate'. It's a joke.

Earthbound,

Take note of the kind of people that are the most vocal in their praises for Mr. Trump. Then decide for yourself is you would vote for any of them, either.

Mrs. Clinton may not be the most ethical candidate available; but if she's the only alternative to Mr. Trump, then the only two choices are to vote for her or not vote at all.

I honestly don't like any of the candidates running much. However..I believe Trump is the worst of the bunch. Many of his supporters are blind to anything bad he's ever done. It's a bit sickening but probably just means his supporters are people that have similar mindsets (racist, sexist, greedy, arrogant, liars).

His verbal bullying tactics are also often mimicked by his followers. I swear, it's impossible to get into a discussion with one of Mr. Trump's fanatics without them launching into ad hominem and sweeping generalization fallacies.

It's as if they will say anything to make him look like an arrogant jackass, as if being an arrogant jackass was a virtue instead of a vice.

I tell everyone this: my posts are a reflection of the posts I am responding to so if you think I am 'verbally bullying' you then look in the mirror. I don't have issues with people that don't have a bug up their you know whats and can have a honest thought out discussion, I've posted on this forum for a very long time now and I get along fine with people that disagree with me almost entirely I'm sure. I had a nice conversation Misslizard today, it's not me bruh it's you. It is always the few, the sad, the not so proud that wander thru taking themselves too seriously who get angry that someone doesn't let their quipy little smears and insults go unresponded too. There is so much hysteria about Trump it's insane, people are getting fed propaganda and their regurgitate it ad nauseum and almost all of it is untrue or simply makes no sense. You're going to decide who should be president based on tone? Really? I don't think most people have any idea what Trump is all about so they are repeating these lies and ridiculous assertions whereas they cannot think critically of Hillary who is being protected by the media. Some people unfortunately are controlled by that box, they can't think outside of it at all. I do not watch cable news, I read a wide cross section of articles every day and it's not all from some echo chamber like the DailyKos or Salon or wherever altho I do read those sites. This is my thing, this is what interests me, the stuff you guys bring up was all put to rest months and months ago. Opposing Trump for the sake of opposing him doesn't make much sense, is that a fashion statement? Do you not want to be bullied by 'progressive' friends?

If you don't support Trump then you have to explain to me how he is worse than Hillary, I suppose you can condemn her too and the whole political process if you want to be consistent but I still think Trump is the best candidate in that regard. Does it just come down to unthinking partisanship? I can respect the people that support Bernie or the Green candidate, at least they're not supporting Satan. Hillary belongs in prison, there has never been a worst candidate than her. If we are so punished that she is elected president then impeachment proceedings should start on day 1. The FBI should indict her, tell me why what she did is not as bad as what David Petraeaus did who was punished SEVERELY. It's straight up corruption in front of our eyes, the Clinton's are the most corrupt politicians in American history.

I think I'm too high energy for this forum :P

That's pretty exact. Are they sure it's not 90 or 92%?

PolitiFact doesn't even have all of Trump's gems:

Here is one I find particularly hilarious:

Regardless, Donald Trump's litany of blatantly false statements on a range of issues like vaccines, climate change, economics, crime statistics, the "birther" issue, etc. would likely cause the scientific community to side squarely with the Democrats...

... but the scientific community has already done this, as the Republicans have long been pushing an anti-scientific agenda in US politics. Trump may be the worst of the bunch, but he is essentially just "more of the same", not a fundamental shift from the overall GOP trajectory.

If Trump's intention is opposing job killing regulations and sovereignty stealing international agreements that countries like China and India will completely disregard then I'm on board. Cap and trade, taxing carbon, it's all never going to happen and if it did it would be a disaster for this country. It seems like advocating to fight global warming walks hand and hand with global new world order. "Science" should not dictate politics, science does not care about people or society. The richer we are, the more likely that we'll come up with a viable alternative to fossil fuels.

Lies are what wins.

Trump tells people what they want to hear.

Also, as Scott Addams, creator of 'Dilbert' explains, humans react more to emotion than rationality.

Trump is called the "master manipulator":
1. Trump knows people are basically irrational.
2. Knowing that people are irrational, Trump aims to appeal on an emotional level.
3. By running on emotion, facts don’t matter.
4. If facts don’t matter, you can’t really be “wrong.”
5. With fewer facts in play, it’s easier to bend reality.

“While his opponents are losing sleep trying to memorize the names of foreign leaders – in case someone asks – Trump knows that is a waste of time … ,” Adams writes. “There are plenty of important facts Trump does not know. But the reason he doesn’t know those facts is – in part – because he knows facts don’t matter.

"If facts don’t matter, you can’t really be 'wrong.'"

Trump “doesn’t apologize or correct himself. If you are not trained in persuasion, Trump looks stupid, evil, and maybe crazy,” Adams writes. “If you understand persuasion, Trump is pitch-perfect most of the time. He ignores unnecessary rational thought and objective data and incessantly hammers on what matters (emotions).”

Hilary swaps her lies back in forth depending on where she is. In a red stay she's pro gun in a blue state she wants to ban all guns. She does this on all issues. Her opinion is for sell to the highest bidder. All politicians are 100% lies. They do and say what they do to get paid nothing less nothing more. This is about pleasing their cooperate backers.

At least trump is his own backer.

Choosing between Trump and Clinton is little better than choosing between HIV or cancer. Though I did read, and I don't know how true this is, that should Trump win the election, there are checks in place that would keep a lid on his overtly insane ideas. I suspect that Clinton might be sly enough to manoeuvre past such checks.

It's been said Trump had had his people listen to talk (hate) radio, and was able to pick up on people's irrational fears and hatreds, whether it's about Mexicans flooding the border to take our jobs, or climate change denial, and other bullsh*t rubes believe. And yes, Trump sees the people who get their news from talk radio and Facebook as rubes, who he has zero respect for, but who he knows he can easily manipulate by regurgitating the idiocy they spew out to one another.
