Because it seems like most people here do. If you do, why and if you don't, why not?

I don't like him because I don't agree with most of his views on social issues, such as abortion, gay marriage and guns. And I'm not American.

Trump is the best candidate running, before he ran for president I did not take him very seriously nor have I ever watched The Apprentice so I mostly knew him for his wealth, abrasive gaudy style, and hair. I think his personality is funny and don't have a problem with his tone, he does not play by the totalitarian politically correct rules our masters want us to play by. I find him embarrassing people like the Bush family, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, all the so called conservative intelligentsia to be a good thing; I want those people punished so he is the battering ram. The media has been running smear campaign against him since day 1 but the media has lost all credibility in this country and people do not appreciate being to lied to and being told who they can't vote for.

He has brought to the forefront issues I don't not believe would of been talked about had he not been in the race; illegal immigration, trade, and our interventionist foreign policy not to mention his diplomatic overtures to Russia and Vladimir Putin which I consider the most important bilateral relationship in the world. Trump breaks away from business as usual, he breaks away from the corrupt Washington establishment that better represent the interest of the lobbyists and big donors than the actual American people. Trump represents real change whereas Hillary is the embodiment of the corrupt bought and paid for status quo, nothing will change for the better under Hillary. Nothing.

It's not about like or dislike for me, I just can't trust Trump.

I neither like nor dislike him but I certainly do NOT trust his ability to improve society. For those of you who are familiar with Legalese, know that Trump is in Full-Support of the State of Israel, and speaking of the Jews...

I also strongly advise against even participating within the Jewish-controlled voting system.

I'm an American, I vote, and I will vote against Trump. He's potentially unleashing a wave of racial and religious bigotry that "political correctness" had kept in check for so long in most places in America, his economic plan seems to be nonsense despite his credentials as a businessman, he seems to be making up his plans and strategies as he goes, and comes across as having narcissistic personality disorder. As much as I dislike Clinton, I'd vote for her in a heartbeat, as bad as the status quo she represents is, compared to that thin skinned, bloviating windbag who has a dead orangatang sewed to his bald head.

Rigid adherence to the status quo, and political correctness run amok, are what spurred Trump's popularity in the first place. You are failing to notice what's below the surface -anger, disgust, rejection of the status quo, you don't seem to understand that people feel culturally and politically threatened, and Trump is the closest analog to this frustration. That's why they are ignoring his behavior, because he is viewed as one of them. If you don't understand that, then you are missing so much, and will never understand what or how this could be happening.

How is controlling the border considered racial bigotry? Illegal is not a race, skin color or ethnicity, it is a character trait of dishonesty.

Hillary is the choice only if your goal is the dismantling of the Constitution.

I can't say I'm a fan of him. He wants to build a wall along the Mexican border and make Mexico pay for it. He wants to screen everyone who enters the country so that he can keep out the Muslims. He once endorsed a white supremacist and outright lied about even knowing the guy when questioned about it. Hell, he has a history of flip-flopping his views on things and going back on things he has previously stated. He has also endorsed violence against innocent people at his own political rallies.

All in all, I cannot see Trump being a good president. His whole presidential campaign strikes me as being a huge grab for attention, and if he gets elected, he's going to run America further into the ground.

I'm no fan of Hillary Clinton either, but at least she isn't a loudmouthed braggart who preys on people's racial insecurities.

He combines all the traits of most every person that has bullied me and extraverts that have annoyed me in my almost 6 decades on this earth. I grew up in that era where bullying was just kids bieng kids, and if you won't or can not fight back you are a "loser" Trump's favorite word. While I do think this whole "safe spaces" and "political correctness" stuff has go way to far and is itself a form of bullying, it fills me with dread that we are going back to the era I grew up in.

I despise Trump. He claims to be an alternative to the corrupt politicians in Washington who take money from wealthy donors. He is a wealthy donor. He says that the rich should be taxed more, then proposes a flat tax of 15%. He complains about trade deals hurting workers, but wants to scrap the minimum wage.
He is not an alternative. He is the ultimate establishment Republican, though they do not realise it. What he proposes is what Republican voters and donors have been asking for, he just proposes it in a more overt way than Rubio or Bush did.
Every single Trump policy will continue the downward spiral of the US. I may not live in America, but I am still fearful of a Trump presidency. I do not want to see proto-fascist ideology being forced on the rest of the world the same way they imposed neo-liberal economics.
I almost forgot to mention his wildly racist ranting. You can debate whether or not a border wall is racist (it probably is), but calling Mexicans rapists is.

I wonder, what IS Trump's appeal anyway? Like why are so many people rooting for him?

If you had millions and millions of people illegally coming into Canada and ruining its economic my you'd want a wall oh wait Canada already has a wall between us a very struck immigration laws. Heck we are even very very limited on what stuff we can bring with us when visiting you. But how dare we try to do the same as you has racist except when Canada does it.

As for screening Muslims well when Canada has a group of Muslim based terrorist hell bent on coming in blowing up or otherwise killing thousands of your people lets see your government not screen people mor throughly. What's wrong with ----->temporarily <---- not letting people from known terrorist controlled areas freely come to our country. Have the violence in Europe and here not shown its enough of a problem for you? Course not your nice and safe in Canada. You won't get blown up or shot by some terrorist so you can tell us to just let it happen and suck it up.

So until Canada opens its borders and allows everyone and anyone in no questions asked you have no right to ask us to do so.

He's not Clinton . He's not a member of one of our "Royal political families"

He's not a republican or democrat both of which have been ruining this nation for centuries and don't give one s**t about the 300 million people who live here. He's a big f**k you to the establishment. He's the first real chance at change.

The more people try to slander him, bully home etc the more people are pushed to support him.

All of you who hate him are just causing him to be elected in. If you'd just shut up and left it alone I of the other republicans would of one. You're all the publicity he needs
