Lifestyle Regulation wouldn't work
Reasons why Regulations may not work in America anyway..
Here are two big examples of the USA's lack of governing competency.
1. The USA's Government lacks the level of "common sense" that Europe has, there is no such a thing in America as ANY of the following, LIKE there is in Europe.
*A difference between a Small Personal Amount, and the amount that is fit for smuggling and causing epidemics with.
*A Difference between Hate speech and Free Speech or Political and/or Religious speech.
*A Difference between 5 and 17
*A Difference between a dangerous breed dog and a reliable pet dog.
*A social and societal and lifestyle Difference between a 50 year old lady, a 12 year old boy, and a 24 year old young man.
*The difference between a Professional Chef, and a Hotdog Cart.
*The difference between Sawdust labeled as Parmesan Cheese, and Real Parmesan Cheese.
There is NO cultural precedent in the United States of America for Any of those distinctions to be made here, and where distinctions have been made, they are both hard won, and razor thin and on a VERY local level, and highly politicized and under a great level of mercy of Party Politics.
2. The fact of the matter is, is that Adults in the USA... ARE being treated like children, and mothers of Adults have recently successfully sued their Adult offspring's employer because they died on their job.
So it is quite clear that the USA is not competent to decide whether or not I should be allowed to ride a horse.
Or Drive, or even say the N word for that matter.
The USA's government isn't qualified to tell people how to live.
And because of that lack of competency, if it did decide to tell people how to live... or what lifestyle to have and started turning that into law...
There are no limitations to that.
So forget it... FROM the (American) Government.
