I've seen a video of a woman disgusted by the mention of "p****" by another woman, but somehow defending Drumpf on anything he says. Jon Voight now also claims that some his remarks are fine but De Niro's somehow 'ugly'? Sexual assault doesn't hurt anyone, but his rival actor's reflection of his idol's character somehow does?

What plane of existence do these hypocrites inhabit? How can anyone have such obvious double standards? How can someone so blatantly sell their soul to a single person at all costs regardless of anything?

It's not so much that they internally judge according to a double standard as it is that they don't bother to avoid creating one with the arguments they make up on the spot to express their allegiance.

When "normal" people appear to argue about something, the last thing they give a s**t about is the logic in what they're saying. Think of it as the human equivalent of a lion roaring to warn those who approach his territory. If you naïvely counter-argue, it'll be taken as a provocation and they and their whole "tribe" will do whatever is necessary to destroy you, or, at least, drive you off in humiliation.

Real debate, attacking ideas rather than people, is extremely rare.
