What do you when you don't feel like you can totally support any party because they all have beliefs that are factually incorrect?

Does it bother anybody else that politics has more to do with beliefs than facts? (Not that beliefs are necessarily bad).

I feel pressured by family members to vote one way. But I can't necessarily vote that way. Unfortunately, people don't tend to respect other people's political views. :?

I don't vote.

When NTs force to explain, I tell them: "Placebos don't work for me."

All of the NT society is based on an interlocking series of mutually accepted lies.

I have proposed the name Homo vanidicus as more descriptive than Homo sapiens: lying man vs. wise man.

It bothers me a lot that so many politicians lie so much. Politics in USA are so corrupt. Many people lie to get into power, then get elected- help out their friends mainly.. and people seem fine with it. Then the cycle happens over and over again. Scandals that involve corruption and so on seem to be frequent, which is pretty sickening. It's all about having the power, getting money and doing as much to help out buddies.. until they can't run for office anymore or they get caught. So stupid.

It is a style of propaganda adapted from the Russian state, I wrote about here.

Politics never was based on facts.
If it were based on facts, we'd have one party, one leader, one truth, one law.
The reason there are differing opinions on anything is because no one knows what the f**k they're talking about.

Um, facts aren't an individual's truth... if Kim Jung-Un decided that the sun won't come up tomorrow... well, it could if he hid in his bunker, but not for everyone, unless some dome covered it, but even then not for anyone outside...

The thing about facts about statements and statistics is even proving their validity doesn't necessarily grant them merit.

Someone could be confirmed as saying something in the past, but their position on an issue might have changed or they can still push for plausible deniability and other means to quash something that is unfavourable with public opinion at the time.

Someone could have a statistic to support their agenda, while another has a statistic to oppose it, yet both are factually correct in their nature.

Most everyone alive assumes things that are not factually correct. So what's new?

Not really, as an old quotion once said "The only people who want to be politicians are the very people who should never be allowed to be politicians." Which basically amounts to, liars, self serving hypocrites and corrupt arsewipes.
