I think that was really apt and to the point.

One thing I would add is deceptive language or spin is always goign to happen, even to justify the unjustifiable. However the crucial thing is to have a marketplace of ideas, this is security against that dominating.

I think many activist groups as well political officials are guilty of promoting new think and double speak, and the way they enforce this and prevent their ideas from being challenged often is to create strong stigmas or taboos around certain subjects, which makes it hard to question these narratives. Another tactic is to threaten livelihoods, by implying the target are bigoted when in reality they are against the bigoted an illiberal views these activists hold.
