Is Alex Jones damaging? People have been saying that for a long time and while I wouldn't want him speaking on my behalf to the MSM, I think he provides a valuable platform to reaching young people and those outside the mainstream political system. He is an entertainer and businessman first and foremost, once you've accepted this then he's a lot more tolerable and easier to digest. I think what scares a lot of people with Alex Jones is less the crazy/weird stuff he talks about from time to time but rather the stuff he is actually correct about which is way too often. Alex Jones is simply filling a vacuum made by the bias in the MSM who refuses to cover the things he covers, the MSM has no moral high ground to judge others in this regard. I'd compare Alex Jones to a Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert.
I'd compare him to David Icke. It's because of people like them that people believe in ancient aliens, laser beams from space, reptilian people, flat earth, the moon being fake and being dragged by lizards, holograms, missiles into the pentagon and spirit chefs. They drag down any truth movement and that's why people like you and me get accused of wearing tinfoil hats.
