Do people care more about world issues than they did in 2018

It seems that they do, and I’m happy about it, but maybe it’s just my imagination.

After the internet became highly accessible and became a requirement to function in society people cared a lot more in general, but that's not necessarily a good thing (in my view).

63% of uk ppl dont know what a brexit is . 75% of us ppl dont know where america is on a map. and 98% dont know what russia is or where russia is on a map .

but little do they care other than the paycheck-to-paycheck problem which 658% of our presidents have no idea about.

I seriously doubt that one year makes that much difference in how much the population cares about issues outside the US. Except maybe in 2018 Americans were distracted somewhat by the midterm elections.

1,000 percent don’t know how statistics work. 200 percent think that the world is flat. 3,000 percent think that there’s no such thing as climate change.

But no, there wouldn't be much change in that regard in a year, certainly not without a catalyst, and no such catalyst exists.
