In times gone by..
(a good years Boris Xmas message.)

Boris has in recent times quipped, ' this government recognises – particularly now – that Britain cannot turn its back on the world.'
'We understand that after 23rd June we have to be more energetic, more outward looking, more engaged with the world and you all, than ever before.
“So I would say to the great ambassadors and high commissioners here tonight, that when you come to write your truthful and accurate diptels
(diplomatic telegrams), I hope you will recall some of the enthusiasm and confidence of this new government.
“We are so cosmopolitan that we drink more champagne, buy more German cars than anyone else and our wonderful Prime Minister wears lederhosen.”
(and we've even exported Farage to the U.S!)

There is alot of old foreign media stereotyping over his last role as London Mayor, but at least he struck the islamic chord just right.

The twelve scrooges of yuletide before they were resigned to recourse irony.

^^^
Ultimately no, what I was expressing was just a split euphenism for a mandate on foreign affairs that I wanted to harbour on the differences beteween London Mayer then, turned foreign affairs secretary now and ultimately, Boris is not making a song and dance about it, he's just accepting that the tide has at once returned the favour, than sticking him in a dead beat job trying to lower mortgage taxes on the high rise living in uptown society London these days, leave it to the billionaires to sort out their council funding and bridge tax homelessness. Thats the only downside, is that they will falter under the governments untidy housing scheme, yet to correlate equal spending cuts in all areas of each borough, I know how boroughs work, I used to live in one.
All the same, hail Bojo, he has foreign appeal, he has the benefactor of a United Britain and United States front.

They both have silly hair and say silly things.

Johnson is a much more worldly man and usually apologises when he makes a mistake. It's hard to describe him as intelligent, but he prides himself on being educated (pretty much the opposite of Trump, who emphasises his intelligence and lack of education - although the difference is that nobody doubts Johnson went to Oxford).

Johnson is basically what would happen if Trump and Mary Beard accidentally fell into a giant blender together.

In answer to your direct question though, the two have little in common. For one thing Borris has strong ties to sovereignity, his eight times granddaddy being George II.

Also, I 've purposefully made this thread for British people, wanting to say anything 'old or new';about the new British democracy which we are now finding ourselves in.
There are people around from all walks of life trying to fit in with the rules of a very changing world free from bad reforms and separate from society.
Feel free to share or air any views. :D
