What if Abrahamic religions are a deception?
What if society got it all wrong?
Have you ever thought of that possibility? Have you ever noticed that all the conspiracy websites on the internet point to Christianity/Islam/Judaism or other Abrahamic religions as the answer?
Isn't that odd, considering that those websites are built by so called free thinkers? Yet they all give the same answer; save your soul with the Holy Books because the world is gripped by a ''Satanic conspiracy''. Do you realize that they are promoting that which they say they don't want?
If we were are all Christians/Muslims/Jews, a one world government would be in place soon. Like the Vatican used to rule the West, just a little bigger than that. They are promoting that which they say they are against.
Are the people we see these days in politics good people? Most here will say no they are not, yet they most of them claim to belong to one of the three Abrahamic books. They oppose the rights of anyone different than them.
The Abrahamic books are full of violence, incest, and a God that hates everyone who doesn't believe in him so much that he will torment them forever. How is tormenting anyone forever a fair punishment for the short time we spend on earth? How is that a God of love?
I believe Abrahamic religion made a joke of God, turning love into hate, abuse into peace, and inverted everything. I am not a satanist like the person who posted this because I believe Satan is an Abrahamic concept too, but I find it odd to find so many defendants of conservative Abrahamic ideas on conspiracy forums.
Now I am not saying that evil is limited to Abrahamic religion, evil undeniably is part of the nature of man. It is found among practitioners of all religions.
But how are you so sure that the true word of God is in these books?
I have seen this pattern when I was looking for answers, and obviously started to think something was off. Free thinkers shouldn't all give the same answers, maybe this conspiracy is not Satanic at all; but in fact Abrahamic and patriarchal.
I have thought about this extensively.. I believe Satan is the true liberator of mankind, which is why he is demonized and put away as 'evil''. The ruling elite have no use for independent thinkers, they rather have ''sheep'' who flock to their ''sheperd'' or their holy book. Abrahamic faith promotes weakness, turning the other cheek to your tormentors and being a good slave.
The occult is a system one can work to empower oneself, and therefore no longer be a slave to the elite. The elite don't want us to realize we are all Gods, and want to keep this knowledge to themselves. The letters ''JHVH'' are nothing more but the four elements of the Jewish magical system. JHVH is a false deity, invented to keep the masses quiet.
Thankfully, the Church is globally losing power. Religion is becoming less popular, and more people are questioning mindless obedience. More people will openly oppose religion then ever, and more people will find the truth. I look forward to the coming time.

You can find 400,000 year old human skulls in Europe.
The three ugly sisters and their offspring only go back a few thousand years, Islam is what 1500 years old, Christians 2000 years, and Judaism is well, in current form it's from about 1200 BC (going back further is problematic as they worshipped more than one god, shh).
For any religion to hold any weight it would have to date back a little longer.
They are all a deception, the more modern a religion the greater the deception, written by man to control others.

I think in western countries secular society is rapidly increasing. You shouldn't spend to much attention on conspiracy sites. Most of the time they are only speculation anyway. Coming from someone who believes in the God of Abraham. And if you want to know why we think the Bible is the true word of God, grab the Book and read it. You must have one laying around somewhere, I recommend you reading the Gospel of John first and build out from there. And if you read it don't stop after a couple of pages, keep reading you will find the answer somewhere.

Where else would any website be, and are you certain *all* such sites make that particular proclamation?! In any case...
I believe Satan is the true liberator of mankind, which is why he is demonized and put away as 'evil''...
That is definitely an interesting theory and I can follow your overall logic to get there...but I would also say your having put a lot of thought into the possibility of such a conspiracy would never be enough to keep it from landing in the same category as where you have placed the as-alleged other.

Doesnt have much to do with the thread, but its interesting.
Have read the Bible, and it didn't appeal to me one bit. That's what got me thinking in the first place.
And no, I gave my Bible away a long time ago after reading it.
It's full of violence no matter what it's propopents say. I know most modern Christians tell me to ignore the Old testament because then the book isn't so violent anymore, but the fact is that it is there and it seems quite strange to me that God would put a book in His Holy book that we don't need!
This is what the Bible sounds like to me:

No not ALL of them, that is a generalization for the sake of creating a discussion. I would say however, the majority do.
Well you don't have to agree with me, I'm not asking that of you.
I'm just interested in which parts you do find sound then, would you want to tell me why?

As for the other fossil posts, I'm not sure why you all seem think I don't believe in fossils or something.
I'm not a Christian/Muslim/Jew.

I'd just argue that the anthropomorphize Zeus in a chastity belt isn't real and had more to do with a combination of how nature and culture was treating people (after the late bronze-age collapse of society) as well as a lot of unconscious forces in the culture at the time that were given voice by the Torah and the like.
I did read the bible a couple times through (at least for each book) and I had a very different takeaway from it than what I was given in Catholic catechism or by nondenominational friends.
A lot of what's there is based on ideas that would be utterly foreign to most Christians, such as the Seven Elohim, the mazaloth, the four elements, ie. ideas that were really pantheistic and astrological/proto-astronomical in nature but were given power because the belief was that nothing big moves without effecting everything else, so seeing the planets cut a course through the night sky encouraged them to look for correlations to these activities on earth. It's where astrology came from. If the bible was meant to be Zoroastrian/Manichaean heaven/hell good/evil dualism it did so pretty poorly because it minced every word and seems to alternate between pantheism and dualism without much thought.
On that note also - Satan's equally unreal. He and Lilith are symbols of nature, internal or external, kicking our arses or setting up the social regime which we live by, ie. barbarism. Sin IMHO is real though, is a useful concept, and I'm a bit surprised that secular humanists haven't given much thought about this one. A lot of what's in our wiring is antisocial and helps societies crumble rather than grow and you could call sin, or 'missing the mark', the activities we engage in that go against building a better and brighter future for humanity.

It is not that I would be qualified to say whether or not any parts are sound, just that I find your theory interesting since it is (at least as I perceive it) essentially a mirrored, inverted or reversed image of an opposing theory. I grew up in a religious setting where people taught about Satan-versus-God in ways that were like each using strategies intended to out-maneuver the other, then many years later I heard some "end-time deception" stuff related to the alleged fact of people serving Satan while believing there are serving God...and now here we are back at the beginning of all of that but with Satan alleged to be the good guy.

I am a so-called Conspiracy Theorist but I do not buy into any of the religions. The only «truth» that I adhere to as absolutely «faithfully» that I can is according to The Testament of Truth as written by Terence (who happens to be THE Messiah), and even HE has written about how ALL «religions» are Deceptions, especially that of the governments, and that all churches have also «sold out» and gotten in bed with satanic governments.
Read his National Security Alert Page @ http://www.the-testament-of-truth.com/t ... liance.htm
...better yet, even more relevant to the topic of this thread, read some of his «The CRUCIFIXION of Religion»...
http://www.the-testament-of-truth.com/t ... ucify2.htm
http://www.the-testament-of-truth.com/t ... ucify3.htm

http://www.the-testament-of-truth.com/t ... ucify5.htm
http://www.the-testament-of-truth.com/t ... ucify6.htm
The word «crucifixion» even appears in ALL CAPS @ http://the-testament-of-truth.co.uk/truth/index.htm with the brief summary description : «The falsity of priesthood»
The Messiah is great, and I mean THE Messiah, THIS Messiah, the REAL Messiah, not that «elevated into god-ship» version so-called non-existent messiah that is often preached about by Abrahamic-religion-followers.

Yes, and I suspect those methods of deceit, including self-delusion or self-deceit where many people are actually *willingly* deceived, are also many. Personally, I begin on the simple premise of the existence of a sovereign Creator, then try to comprehend exactly what the Creator is reported to have said (such as a simple "I am!" when asked "Who shall I say has sent me?")...and yes, I do realize I am still dependent upon human reports of what the perceived Creator has allegedly said.
I used to wonder why or how the Creator either could or would expect anyone to seriously consider reports from imperfect humans, but today I have learned the character of the pizza delivery person does not automatically affect the quality of the food.
1. One that foretells future events; a predicter; a foreteller.
2. In Scripture, a person illuminated, inspired or instructed by God to announce future events; as Moses, Elijah, David, Isaiah, etc.
3. An interpreter; one that explains or communicates sentiments.
4. One who pretends to foretell; an imposter; as a false prophet.
