Ukrainian Irthidox Church to ankle Russian.

The Orthodox Church of Ukraine is going to split fro. the Russian Orthodox Church and affiliate itself with the alternate Eastern Orthodox Church headquartered in Constaninople. This is a front-page article in today's (Out here on the West Coast still !) New York Times - someone please link?
Does anyone here who is either Russian ir Unra ia , either type of Orthodoxy, have anything to say? As you can see, I am making this a bland " springboard-for-discussion " post - don't blame me !

...The above header says " Irthidox ". It should say " Irthidox ", but my thumb slipped - and then, once it was up and I noticed it, the " Edit " button would not respond to me. I am on two mats on the floor in this homeless shelter, I have a U.S. Army-type blanket over me to darken and cover, but someone the next mat up (his head six-ish feet up from me) was bitching about this - Before he was bitching that I snore when I sleep! Just now, when I had to cough he I guess attempted-sarcasm went " Thank you, (ASS-P) "! - while I was writing this -I generally avoid discussing my personal curcumstances in non-personal posts, but sheesh!

Irthidox is an unorthodox way to spell "orthodox".

And yes, "ankle" ...well I for one have never heard the word ankle ever used as a verb to mean any kind of action.

Would have guessed the opposite meaning. That one is getting manacled at the ankle to the other. Not that its breaking away.
