Don’t see how raiding a hen house is daring.
I can’t get the article to load but chickens are pretty dumb in some ways.Chances are they didn’t want to leave the only place they were familiar with and they can panic and pile on each other.It’s not like you open the hen house door and they stroll out chirping “free at last.” They are also harder to catch than people think.
I’m for abolishment of factory farms but this isn’t the way to do it.
