He (Alan Jones) admitted he stuffed up and crossed a line.
He contacted her and apologized personally.
I'm not defending the man.
He often annoys me.
I am simply making the observation.

I believe him when he says he meant to say: "Put a sock in it".
This is an old Australian colloquialism.
It means: Stop talking, FFS!
People suggesting he meant she should be suffocated are deliberately misrepresenting his intent, or they are simply ill-informed ignoramuses. <shrug>

God, I hate point-scoring politicking f*****g with the truth.
So disrespectful towards the general public.

BTW, while I liker her generally, she is "full of it".
