After the defeat of the united States, this is what I would say, if I was the judge in the war crimes trial.

First charge.
Land theft from the native Americans.
This court finds the accused settlers and certainly the people living today, not guilty.

Wild humans are simply not truly civilized and humane, and never grasped the concept of ownership until civilized cultures arrived.. regardless of the ramblings of native Americans.

They were simply wild predatory Animals in the 1400s, 1500s and 1600s, until nearly the 20th century, the 1900s.

The sentence is nothing because the verdict is not guilty.

On the Second charge, genocide.

This court finds the defendants not guilty on the charge of genocide against the native Americans, and downgrades the charge to Animal Cruelty toward humans.

On the new, lesser charge of Animal cruelty toward Humans, toward the uncivilized tribes of Natives.
This court finds the 1600s, 1700s and 1800s Presidential administrations, Congress and military hierarchies, guilty as charged.

This court finds all administrations since the year 1900 until this year, not guilty on the charge of Animal Cruelty toward Humans against the Native Americans.

The sentence for which is death, suspended sentence.

On the third charge.

Oppression against the exercise of religion resulting in death, against practitioners of Wicca, or the so called "Witches"..
Taking place in the 1600s.

This court finds the Administrations of the 1600s colonial British North America, guilty as charged..

The sentence for which is death, suspended sentence.

This court finds any and all adminirations of post 1776 United States of America...
Not Guilty.

On the Fourth Charge.

Filing a false report about the reigning monarchy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, Revolution, waging an aggressive war and Treason against their government.

This court finds George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin,
Roger Sherman and Robert Livingston guilty as charged.

The sentence for which is Death, suspended sentence.

On the Fifth charge.
Enslavement of human beings.

This court finds the Administrations of the 1700s and 1800s, not guilty.

And reduces the charge to Animal Cruelty toward Humans because of African tribalism and not civilization.

The verdict for which is guilty.

The sentence for which is Death.
Suspended sentence.

On the sixth Charge.

Holding a population politically helpless and hostage to a Constitution that is routinely violated from top to bottom and fails to protect citizens, and is based on the wrong kinds of rights to protect civilization and human rights and law and order..

But does promote discrimination, empowers gangs and hate groups and extremist ideologies and groups, and enables violence and aggression.

And therefore accessory to murder, torture and inhumane treatment of human beings.

This court finds the current United States presidential administration, the Congress and all 9 justices of the United States Supreme Court..

Guilty as Charged.

The sentence for which is Death, due to the fact it has caused massive amounts of death and suffering and torture for hundreds of years.

This sentence of death is not suspended, because this current administration presently exists and is guilty.

In the 7th charge...

Waging aggressive, unproked, xenophobic wars..

This court finds the United States presidential administration and military hierarchy guilty as charged.

The sentence for which is death.

Not suspended.

On the 8th charge..

Politically corrupt, ideologically systemic neglect of its citizenry called "Lazziez Faire"..

This court finds the Presidential Administration, Congress, supreme court and all regulatory and enforcement Agencies...

Guilty as Charged.

The sentence of which would not ordinarily be death, had it not caused death, and had not facilitated death.

But the sentence is death...
Because it has caused death by disease, death by murder, death by freezing, death by starvation.

This sentence is not suspended.

On the ninth charge.

Law Enforcement, judicial, regulatory and prosecutorial injustice.

This court finds all three branches of the United States government and all agencies of the United States government..

Guilty as charged.

The sentence for which is Death.

This case is now closed.
Thank you.

:)

Meh, at this point I feel that the only true justice for our own crimes is to have a big nuke dropped on us like we did to Japan.

But like they say, be careful what you wish for.

Sometimes I do hate America, but then I have to remind myself that there are actual countries out there that are far worse than we are.

Let's go back in time and hold all countries accountable for every atrocity they ever committed. Conclude everyone is terrible and must die. Launch a nuclear holocaust and be done with it.

Do you really want to be remembered only by lichens and cockroaches?

I’m on mobile so can’t handle this the way I usually would. I need to address the points about “undeveloped civilisations”.

I don’t believe that the OP’s sentiments come from a place of racism although that wouldn’t be an unreasonable conclusion to draw. So I think as a mod I have three responsibilities:

1) OP: your assumptions about humans not deserving full recognition of their humanity until they have “reached a certain level of civilisation” are dehumanising. I think you have made some assumptions that do not stack up.

2) Everyone: be aware that rhetoric justifying genocide or slavery on the grounds of “civilisation” is routinely used by racists past and present. I think in this case the OP has simply started repeating racist talking points without being properly exposed to the counter arguments. In general you should be very suspicious of anyone who tries to justifying slavery or genocide.

3) Everyone: WrongPlanet has rules against racism. “African tribes are not people” for example crosses that line. However, on this occasion I believe that locking the thread is not the best way to address the issue.

I wanted to call out how racist the OP's first post was, but I figured it would just backfire on me like it has in the past.

I am glad I am not the only one to think so.

There are some interesting contrasts here.

That the OP still argues for a charge of "animal cruelty" implies that the OP thinks native Americans are still not human.

I agree that false accusations and confessions extracted under torture, followed by execution is murder. I also think that exterminating the natives to take their land is also murder, and justifying that mass murder by claiming the victims are not human is worse than justifying murder by claiming the victims are a threat.

Ace33 wrote:

And reduces the charge to Animal Cruelty toward Humans because of African tribalism and not civilization.

The definition of tribalism that doesn't apply to European settlers has to be very specific. And excusing enslavement based on the victims' alleged hostility to outgroups is rich when xenophobia on the part of the US state is a charge for which the OP would hand down the death penalty. That acknowledges that the institutions of European settlers have the same problem the OP sees in African institutions, and which are supposed to make their practitioners not human.

And here is the quote:
Ace33 wrote:
Waging aggressive, unproked, xenophobic wars..

Like the wars against the native populations? Or the wars instigated in Africa by slave traders?

Ace33 wrote:

Yes, I seem to remember a glaring failure to protect the human rights of native Americans and enslaved Africans...

Ace33 wrote:
But does promote discrimination, empowers gangs and hate groups and extremist ideologies and groups, and enables violence and aggression.

I wonder whether classifying some humans as animals or deserving of enslavement might be an extremist ideology that encourages violence.

The_Walrus wrote:

I don't understand how that conclusion follows from the OP's arguments here. I can see how you might think that based on what I saw in another thread:
Ace33 wrote:
Which brings me to the next point...
The power of race in America.

That's the real driver of capitalism in America...

I recommend to the OP "Guns, Germs and Steel" by Jared Diamond and "Debt: The First 5000 Years" by David Graeber. Those books might offer a more nuanced view on how Europeans got to dominate, and on the economic drivers of the African slave trade.

It should also be noted that OP only considers the US guilty of committing things that are, in fact, not crimes (war itself is not a crime), but moral failings.
All the things that are (war-)crimes under today's law, he brushes off by dehumanising the victims.

Having seen some other posts by the OP, I have re-evaluated my original reading of the OP. It is not only racist, but deliberately and maliciously so.
