If Trump got impeached (the whole nine yards of impeachment- and actually got removed from office), or if he left office to avoid the disgrace of impending impeachment the way Nixon did, or if the impeachment train just runs out of steam and gets forgotten about, and Trump can then breath easy, but he accidently slips on a banana peal and just dies in office anyway, or he dies of gout, or something else that has nothing to do with his many scandals, and Pence takes over as president then...
The new President Pence would appoint Ted Cruz as Veep, and would place Michelle Bachman, and Rick Santorum, on his cabinet.
This new team of American Ayatollahs would DESIRE to do all of what you're suggesting. But they wouldn't actually get very far in actually doing that. They wouldn't even be able persuade the GOP dominated Senate to do very much of their bidding. And they would only get the last two years of Trumps term to preside in Trump's stead. Pence would then have to run in 2020. I think that Pence would have longer odds against being elected in 2020 then the incumbent Trump would have to be relected in 2020. Pence would be even less popular than Trump because he is more to the right than both Trump and than most GOP voters, and has less populist pull on Democrat voters than Trump. He would alienate the same folks that Trump alienates but he would not be able steal votes from the Dems the way Trump does. It would be lose-lose for the GOP. Might as well just hand the oval office to the Dems on a silver platter.
So if I were you I wouldn't worry.
