I hate being right

I knew this was going to get worse because we now have the right fighting against the left and I knew something like this was going to happen. I think it's going to get worse after the election and now I am thinking it doesn't matter who wins. Both sides are fed up.

The whole US will be portrayed as a bomb zone like all the US cities are on fire. That is how my town has already been portrayed while everything is still normal here.

I thought about posting this in The Haven but I figured this would be more suitable here.

Sometimes I'm reminded of exactly why I have always hated this country since childhood and I find myself secretly wanting to see America destroyed. It's just a damn shame that I can't move to another safer country before that time comes.

I live in a mixed area.

Some people keep to their “own kind,” while others are flexible enough to transcend race and ethnicity.

I don't fit in anywhere, not with my "own kind", not with outsiders, but I'm sure I'll fit into a hole in the ground just nicely in the end...

The media distorts things.

Trump's ingenious move to postpone and if re-elected, later, forgive Social Security taxes, means workers will be financially incentivized to vote for Trump or face paying back those taxes to Biden's administration.

Biden hasn't said he will forgive these postponed taxes.

So, Biden voters will be directly voting to take money from us.

Trump doesn’t care all that much for Democracy.

He wants to be the permanent CEO of the US.

i can't believe there are people on this forum who really want to ashcan social security. how short-sighted can one be?

It doesn't matter if you support it or not, your employer is the one who will NOT WITHHOLD your SS taxes and the IRS will later require you to repay it.

You want tax relief? Vote Trump
You want a tax burden? Vote Biden

Most Americans are pretty good people, and hard working as well. Reports of our eminent demise are I think exaggerated.

. Being a little older, I didn't have crazy-making electronics telling me how terrible all are for much of my life. I kinda feel for the kids, since it obviously gets to them.

i want MY social security which i PAID FOR, and not have people like you taking it away from me via short-sighted tax cuts that hurt the most vulnerable.

Trump just might renege on that promise....

trumpoleeney has not reneged on a single promise to his paymasters [who btw are NOT you and me]. THEY got their rip-off tax cuts alright and gutted regulations.

I strongly disagree. I'd say about half of the American population is decent enough (though ignorant about the rest of the world plus their own country), the other half are happily cheering for a corrupt narcissistic conman and bullying anybody who dares to oppose him with insults and even death threats. Of course now liberals and democrats are doing a lot of bullying and death threats of their own.

So yeah, I think a lot of Americans really are just terrible people coming from both the right side of politics and the left side. Of course things were never this bad until Trump became president. So did Trump turn a lot of Americans crazy or did he simply pull the veil off the real face of America and expose us for the terrible people we really are?

I mean, what else can you say about the country that introduced the atomic bomb to the world? I think there should be a special place in hell reserved for those Americans who decided to invent something so terrible that it could potentially destroy our whole world someday.
