I'm sorry; I couldn't ask the whole entire question, but How come they call Biden Uncle Joe when West and Central Asian countries in the past, when they're the USSR, called Joseph Stalin Uncle Joe? Joseph Stalin was Asian (Native Georgian), and his fellow Georgians called him "Uncle Joe" too. I'm not saying Biden is an authoritarian like Stalin was, but it's just odd? Like I know Biden is centre left (I'm libertarian centre on both nolan chart and political compass), but it's odd I guess. Although unrelated note Kamala Harris is hot but an unfortunate christianphobe. Nobody should be an islamphobe, christianphobe, anti-Semite, etc. But alas, America has the first amendment. Also, I didn't agree with the Catholics on the abortion issue (since abortion is a natal female's right), but I guess how she handled it was inappropriate.

Joe Biden's an old man named Joe, so 'Uncle Joe' is an obvious nickname. The fact that it was also once applied to Stalin doesn't feature in anyone's thinking about reusing the nickname for someone else because it's so generic.

I feel like Grandpa Joe would be better, but also Grandpa Sweet Potato for Drumph.

Uncle Joe suits him. Relatively few people remember enough about Stalin to make the mental connection.

I don't disagree, but most people don't put much thought into these things.

Kinda like asking why is this place over here called "Land's End", or "Springfield", or "Lakeforest", when this other place over there has the same name? Like names of places, certain monikers for people, lend themselves to being used over and over.

Or it's like asking "why does the company that cans Mexican style beans have the same name as the Spanish painter famous for portraying 'Saturn devouring his children'? Should the Goya food company go by the same name as Francisco Goya who made that dark unappetizing masterpiece of a mythical giant biting the heads off of his adult children like they were so many chocolate eastern bunnies!"

Goya is just a common Spanish surname.

Where do you get the idea of Kamala Harris being a "christianphobe"?

Frankly, I suspect you probably picked this idea up from the American Christian religious right wing's usual whining about being "persecuted" when they are not allowed to impose their beliefs on other people. Please see, for example:

- ‘Help, help, I’m being repressed!’: How conservatives make a mockery of the oppression of religious minorities
- The bitter tears of the American Christian supermajority
- The Persecution Complex: The Religious Right’s Deceptive Rallying Cry

There are countries where Christians really are persecuted, but the U.S.A. is not one of them.

More recently, some disinfo has apparently been spread about Kamela Harris. See Fact check: Kamala Harris never called churches 'propaganda centers' by Camille Caldera, USA Today, October 15, 2020.
