David Brody, a Trump acolyte and political analyst for Pat Robertson's Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), criticized President Biden for not including the name "God" in his National Day of Prayer Proclamation. Brody also implied that the proclamation should honor only Christians.

To me, President Biden is only a slight improvement over President Ford.

It is the fact that some self-important right-wing "Christian" journalist / Trump fan / Republican threw a hissy fit because someone did not mention God in an official government speech or document serves only to remind me that people in the Reich have forgotten that the U.S. does not belong exclusively to them.

And for the record, President Biden became the first president since 1952 to not use the word "God" in his National Day of Prayer proclamation. He did, however, write that this proclamation was signed in "the year of our Lord two thousand twenty-one" and he used the word "God" in his oral remarks to commemorate the day.
