I empathize with true conservatives. Being a conservative isn't always neccesarily such a bad thing, but there's a fine line between being conservative and behaving like a fascist like the GOP of today is doing.

The Bob Dole conservative appears to be extinct.

But I feel they are actually a “silent majority,” and will maybe oust the Trumpists from the GOP.

I really hope they do.

These days, even George W. Bush would be considered a socialist by the MAGAs.

It’s so funny it’s sad that Americans are brainwashed into believing that socialism is a bad word.

Meanwhile, the rest of the world has universal healthcare..

..like how stupid do people have to be to believe socialized medicine is a bad thing and then vote against having healthcare for themselves?

As an American I don't know enough about what socialism really means to form an actual opinion of it, but whenever I hear people like the tankies and the 'useful idiots' in this country saying things like "Hey you know what? Capitalism is failing so let's just destroy the whole system and force everyone to be Communist now!" It raises a lot of red flags for me.

Do these people not know or simply not care about the amount of insane oppression that goes on in most countries that implented communism? Mao's China, Stalin's Soviet Union, Fidel's Cuba, Kim's North Korea. You get the picture...

It's like when I see college and high school age kids online claim to support our LGBTQ rights on one hand while at the same time praising Fidel Castro, the Cuban dictator who had many homosexuals in his country rounded up and placed in concentration camps to be tortured. He actually once bragged that "There are no gay men in Cuba!"

But hey, he hated Ammmmuuurrrican Imperialism with a great passion. That's all that truly matters to many of these leftists in the end. Right?
