Using my Hawaiian-themed playing cards. I pulled out a joker and asked "Where will these culture wars take us in the future?"
Where we are now: Queen of Spades. Our country is on the brink of falling apart with all this talk of "civil war" and "national divorce". Make no mistake about it...
In the past we have the Queen of Hearts which is a card that could be thought of as thr embodiment of female sexuality and freedom to love whoever she wants (could also apply to gay men and interacial couples as these court cards dont have to be gender specific). However her sexual liberty is being crushed by the oppressive 3 of Spades which means great sadness for her and those like her.
In the future we have the cruel and calculating King of Spades who hopes to gain a powerful grip on the country. He is a totalitarian tyrant in the making, and the two of diamonds represents balancing and dividing out power. He will reshape the country as he sees fit.
So what we might end up with here is a slide into totalitarianism after a brief civil war or perhaps no civil war at all? Just a straight up dictatorship...
The Alternative Path I see is the 6 of Wands. A victory parade for the tyrant or a trojan horse for those who continue to rebel against his influence.
The path best avoided is the 8 of Clubs. I think it warms not to be too hasty for war. Because we will never recover from it should it happen to us.
Basically in these cards I see a rather hopeless situation for the US. More of our rights being stripped away etc by kakistocrats in power who arent even pretending to care about governing our people anymore.
