I've heard about DeSatan's political ad. As much as I despise Trump, DeSatan has somehow managed to sink even lower by attacking the MAGA orange messiah for a rare expression of human decency.

What is it about psychopaths that they run for public office?

As bad as DeSatan and Abbott are, the craziest GOP governor is a tie between Brad Little (Idaho) and Henry McMasters (South Carolina).

In all fairness, if I were governor of the state that resembles a wang, I'd probably be a lot less secure in my masculinity as well.

Part of it, I think, has to do with how so many Americans are in denial of that fact.

one thing that we can be certain of, is that wherever there is power and money and sex, there are psychopaths. political office provides plenty of all 3.

Well...whats a GOP candidate to do?

They COULD try to be true to their GOP roots and beliefs, and they could try to offer the electorate...lower taxes, and they could offer the electorate trickle down economics (ie we will screw you in short run in order to help you in the long run- by rolling back regulations on corporations- so corporation will make more jobs....or something).

Or they could do the opposite...and offer the electorate actual benifits...healthcare, rebuilding the infrastructure, abortion rights, and mitigation of climate change. But then they would no longer be GOP if they were to do that "big government stuff".

Or...

They could use fake emotional non issues...like "we will rescue you from...immigrants, Trans, the woke, gays, and from....GASP!...Furries!! !! !!

The last is only way they can get the electorate excited...without... indulging in the GOP heresy of ...actually offering to DO something real for the electorate! So thats what they do.

Seriously...if you were a poor starving GOP state governor who didnt know were his next presidential nomination is coming from...what would YOU do?

You cant "become a Democrat". Nor can you be an old style Reagen Republican and just offer to f**k the voters over for the benefit of the rich. That doesnt work anymore.

So you have to concoct these emotional boogeyman issues.
