There's a lot of mention of the Status Quo nowadays. For example, people constantly say that superheroes in superhero movies only uphold the Status Quo and that the true heroes are the villains, because they change the Status Quo.
My question is, what do you consider to be the Status Quo of your society? How much does it have to change before you no longer consider it the Status Quo? And once it changes into what you want, will that then become the Status Quo and would you want that defended from change?
