I remember the DDR had a law against "slandering the Republic". Will the US have a law against slandering the President? This could certainly be judged slanderous.

I feel he won't do anything as it will prove he is really more unhinged than he is. I like Biden's strategy of attacking head-on. I personally feel he(Trump) is not going to be re-elected

I wish they hadn't included that "bloodbath" quote in there. As much as the spirit of it is accurate (as in Trump is likely to try to incite another insurrection or some other violent event if he loses) that particular quote was about car companies IIRC.

The right is all lies, twisting, disinformation. And enough of the populace believes them, unfortunately. Giving the right a chance to say "you twisted that quote" and it be true is something that they can jump on and make themselves either look good or "both sides" it. =/
