It do get a little bit annoyed when some people bring up analogies or comparisons to Hitler with what Putin is doing in Ukraine. It made me think before well if Putin was like Hitler, he would have attacked other countries by now but I maybe wrong there because before NATO existed, there was nothing to stop Hitler and I have my doubts that Putin would want to invade countries in Western Europe like France, Spain, Italy, Germany or the UK when he wants Ukraine to be a part of Russia and I don't know if he'd want Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia or Finland because they are now NATO countries.

I don't compare him to Hitler. I do compare Trump to Putin in that I think Putin is a modern autocrat at the head of an oligarchy, which is exactly what I think Trump aspires to. They're both corrupt, but that's par for the course in big business and politics. On that score, there's far more diversity than just Hitler.

I think the whole 'Putin wants various NATO countries' is just scare mongering. I don't think Putin is so much into expanding as he's into solidifying and defining. He's working out his borders before they get set in stone. I suspect in the face of something big coming down the line. Maybe geopolitical instability due to the ramifications of human overshoot and resource depletion, or conflicts as resources become available due to the far north opening up as the ice melts. Which also explains Trump's designs on Greenland and Canada.
