Hey.... Honestly, I'm not trying to seem arrogant but I'm above arguing with lots of people on this forum, and then again there are a few smart people among the herds here. Those people I can maintain contact with, but I am no longer posting here for now, maybe not ever.

Well, Snake. I haven't had much dealing with you here, but I'd hate to see you go.
I have enjoyed some of your posts.

Sorry the bickering got to a point that it wore you down.

I just tend to drop it after a few heated exchanges, but that's me.

Hope you come back eventually.

you've posted this like 2-3 times before.....

it's a forums board..... people of all intelligences argue all kinds of things... it's silly to expect otherwise.

i find some of your posts good and some not... so get off your high horse... though i wouldn't classify them (or many posts) as strictly "Stupid", i don't go around posting threats about leaving due to the stupidity encountered on a forums board.... just because i experience views that are in opposition to mine...

Snake - dude I don't know what your problem is but you are no wounded innocent here, I haven't been here long but you seem pretty quick to temper and really very ignorant in the way you regard others, having said that leaving in a sulk would be a sad thing to do and I doubt you intend to, really I think you probably enjoy the attention and drama too much.
However before you go I would like to offer you something to think about.

When I read some of these threads I feel quite sad, I see the one where you describe people as being from one of two types conservative or liberal and decrying them both place yourself above that, don't you think that that is an arrogant and presumptive way to view the rest of us?
You know nothing of us, and unless we come from your own culture you know nothing of what makes us tick and how we are wired.
Your dualistic thinking is I gather a result of YOUR cultures unique ways, my culture is a result of DIFFERENT unique ways, and while our stories may be similar in some respects they will be totally different in others.

I recently left a forum in protest at the dominance of a small cell of bullies from the far right who were using it to create some 'small world' fantasy land in which to swaddle themselves.
I left quietly, I contacted the forum moderator that I had the best rapport with and requested that he close my account down as I could not in good conscience continue to be involved if such behaviour was going to go unchecked [admittedly it was a complicated situation within a very small community].
I think if you were serious you would have done the same, or just stopped posting, no song and dance, no putting out feelers for people to beg you to stay.

Personally I think EVERYBODY should continue their involvement, this is an important opportunity for us to make contact with other people suffering from the same social displacement and the more of us the merrier - surely?
Perhaps you could just think a little before posting, take a little time to compose one concise and reasoned post instead of ranting over three or four consecutive entries? perhaps you could refrain from assuming we are all dumb sheep and being abusive?
