Back in Darwin’s day they did an experiment with same Aborigines in OZ. To measure people who lived primitively were less intellegent, I assume also being less intelligent, had more primitive instincts and ability. On of the experiments was to detect their feeling of being watched and reflexes.

The assumption was that civilized people lose their primitive instincts, because they do not need them anymore as a means to survive, which make lots of sense. The assumption was also civilized people are more intelligent then those who live primitively. The experiment came back negatively. There was not difference at all.

I wonder what would happen if the same experiment happened with Aspies and NTs. Do NTs have more primitive instincts?

Silly to assume that traditional aborigines were less intelligent. They knew the names and properties of thousands of plants, how to hunt, where to find water, and how to avoid getting bit by poisonous snakes. They also had highly developed music, art and oral traditions.

Intelligence is a slippery concept. In the west, it has been reduced mostly to the ability to manipulate verbal and mathematical symbols. But there are at least 9 Types of Intelligence according to one psychologist.

I think that Aspies are defined by limited social intelligence, but many compensate in other areas of intelligence.

I believe that in most regards, the average primitive NT had to use his brain more then the erbon type does today. Back then being intelligent meant difference between life and death. Being less intelligent in London means high child pregnancy. Plus many of jobs people undertake they could probably do half asleep anyway.

The higher demand on intelligent as a mean of survival means they evolve to me more intelligent.
