I'd like to remind people of the threat of a certian pizza-stealing, anthropromorphic bunny rabbit known as the Noid.

This creature has been menacing pizzaria patrons since the 1990's when pizza began. We know that pizza began in the 1990's along with the Noid, because the holy Domino's Pizza commercials tell us so. Since there was no previous mention of the Noid and pizza, it's only logical that this is so..

Now how is this argument different from the bible being taken literaly??

I remember the Noid. He even had his own video game--I think it was called Yo Noid!

OK, let me rephrase this.

In the early 1990's there was a Domino's Pizza commercial featuring a bunny rabit charachter called the Noid. Now, we know that the origin of the Noid had to be a marketing firm, hired by Domino's Pizza to create the character, and the comercials. We know the ORIGIN of the Noid. Now, it would be absurd to argue that the Noid, or some other pizza stealing, anthropromorphic bunny rabit, pre-existed the Domino's pizza commercials. Yet this is EXACTLY what christians, muslims and other theists do.

We know that humanity has existed for over 200,000 years, but for sake of argument, lets say the young world creationists are right and humanity is only 6,000 years old. This is still enough time to make my point. The bible didn't exist untill about 300 A.D. What christians argue, is that for 4,000 years, god sat on his hands and did nothing to address human misery and suffering, then he picked a completely random time to intervene. He did this by human sacrafice in a poor and unimportant part of the Roman Empire, and waited another 2,000 years to have the news of this spread throughout the globe.

Now using the logic of the Noid example, doesn't it make more sense that the character of Jesus didn't exist untill the gospels were writen rather that the christian explanation??

I personally think that Jesus was a historical figure. It's just that his......works have been greatly exaggerated.
