The land of the free is dramatically changing, especially right now. New laws of prohibition, taxing irregularities, possible election cover-ups, secret government business....

Aren't you a little afraid of what the future might entail?

I almost wish I could put down maybe. Part of me thinks that this is simply more of the same but another part of me thinks we are on a slow path to the destruction of all that is good I suppose. I suppose I am more likely to consider this "same ol', same ol'" really.

If you look back this country has been on a slippery slope for a very, very long time. If you're looking for something else to stick the current administration with you need to look at administrations going back at least as far as the great depression. Further than that, even. Saddening as it is, too much damage has been done by now to ever hope to repair it. Not nearly enough people know the extent of it and most wouldn't care even if they did know.

Yes, i do see your angle, but, i have to add that most presidents don't before Bush had been the subject of much nationwide disgust! Though, as well, i may be younger and much more naive to this rather.

It's just normal for the times. Although I am gloating big time over the Canadian dollar hitting $1.07 US.

It'll rot and collapse, as all empires do, either sooner or later... I'm not sure at this point which would be the easier collapse to bear.

Like my forfathers before me, I will die to defend my freedom and my livelihood. I hope it does not come down to this, but it's looking more and more like it will.... I won't give up my rights and my freedom without a fight to the death.

What can you do to save america? Vote centralist, reform, the only non-extremist, non-brainwashing propaganda party out there. They are against big business, and they are for the people.
Both right wing and left wing, and especially the big 2 parties are tools of private industry, major corporations. They are bought and paid, courtesy of the New World Order. They have sold out America. And both wings (especially republicans and democrats) will continue to support big business.

We the people only have 1 real option, if we truely care to keep an equal and stable america alive, where we have rights. And that option is voting centralist. Left and Right wings are extremes, extremist Christianity or extremist PC. They are dividing america and pitting the masses against one another for their own gains.

centralism is compromise, it is meeting in the middle, it is looking at the facts without an emotional bias, it is not side-stepping the obvious (no matter how boring or how "rebellious" it is percieved), it is for people who can vote for their country, and not for their secular position in society.

The centralist platform is for mature people who can make mature decisions, without playing these high school clique games of the right wing and the left wing.

Wow!! ! Thanks for all the interesting input.. I didn't know that Colbert had that very interesting interview. I had thought for a while with the nation at it's current standing, that there has been a lot of secret deals going down, to benefit "a certain class" and establish another secret connection in the middle east. I think that our society will definately be forced to change within the next year. I wish i could say more at this time.

I've never heard of Centralism. Sounds like France's societal prowess. Ever think why America, being the democracy capital of the world, hasn't ever got along with France, "the other democracy?"
