This will be the style of my future campaign poster. What emotions does it evoke? Nationalism? Patriotism? Rage? Anger? MOTIVATION?

It's like something from a Robert Heinlein book...

Just to remind you, there is a growing number of atheists, who won't fight for any god or gods.

Also... What parasites? What true enemies?

This reminds me of either Nazi/Soviet propaganda or, as I said earlier, something from a Robert Heinlein book.

It just makes me not want to vote for you. Also the little font is rather hard to read.

It looks like an advertisement that someone would put in The Onion lol. I would honestly either think that they were joking or that they were extremely extremist (lol...AHH too many lols I'll stop...lol). I think that A) it strikes my funny bone (although I have a strange sense of humor), and B) it talks about death, or advertises potential death or the threat of death. I don't know if I would vote for someone who wants to you to vote for them because they would bring death to our enemies (or try to make them repent with the threat of death). It almost sounds like someone else trying to establish Pax Romana, and/or a preacher preaching about fire and brimstone. Just giving my honest opinion.

Makes me think of Mosley and early Fascist propaganda. Also, a shirt with no tie buttoned to the neck implies that terrible Semi-soviet universal boiler-suit thing. which is a) a terrible fashion faux pas and b) sucking all the individuality out of life. There are also hints of V for Vendetta and I believe Heinlein was already mentioned. Will there be a fire service dedicated to burning books in this Socialist Capitalist utopia? Will there be arm-bands and rallies? Because that is also implied by the upward tilt of the shadowy "everyman" face.

A presidential candidate like this would make your overseas allies cringe, much like we did when we all saw that awful Palin woman and thought "Christ help up, you will vote for anything, won't you?" Same reaction we had when everyone voted that bumhole Bush in a second time.

The emotion evoked is disgust and outrage at the poster. The person apparently wants a fascist regime, to trample on the values of freedom of thought and speech, and basically to enslave humanity with their disgusting ideas. I could not oppose the person more politically if I tried.

Why Fascism? Why does stopping parasitic behavior mean eliminating free thought?

What is considered parasitic behavior in a human population? Does this mean we set up special camps for those who are disabled and are unable to work? Those of us who have such social anxiety that going to the store is a traumatic experience? Those who can't find a job because of their social difficulties?

You know, I was born four months early; am scared of going out in public; have one nearsighted and one farsighted eye, can't drive and am visually disabled.

So, uhh, no, you presumptuous as*hole, that's not what parasitic means.

Parasitic means those who have the capability to contribute equal to or greater than what they consume, but choose not to.

Everything suggests fascism in this picture. It is so pervasive that it is uncanny. I am not even unique on this assessment:




Secondly, we have statements like this:
"Crush the Communists"
"Hang the Socialists"
"Eliminate the Gangsterists, and the profiteers"
"Final Action"
"Only in death will our true enemies repent"
"Only in Social Capitalism will America find peace"

Everything said expresses a very black and white worldview with a focus on destruction of that which is "evil". This does not work very well with a free society, as such a society would explicitly be based upon tolerating differences, and thus holding back from "crushing the communists", "hanging the socialists" and "eliminating the gangsterists and the profiteers".

Thirdly, the focus is very much on fascistic themes:
* Cultural Purity
* Destruction of enemies
* Fervent anti-Communism
* Final solutions



Umm..... the very category of "parasitic behavior" tends to reduce human beings down to components of an organism rather than beings that have their own goals and purposes. While some degree of this is allowable, at the point you are getting at, you end up seeming to reduce human beings to cogs. Even further, I didn't say "stop parasitic behavior", instead, I was reacting to statements like "Crush the communists", "hang the socialists" and "eliminate 'Gangerists and profiteers", which do seem to explicitly call for the deaths of people based upon what they think, or at least to muzzle their ability to express their opinions.

It seems both.

I take it "Final Action" is akin to the Nazis' "Final Solution." The style of the shirt, as another poster has already said, reminds me of the Soviet style: Joseph Stalin. The slogans and ideology sound fascist.
