Vote for your choice for Republican candidate. The winner will face off against the democratic candidate in about a month. See how close we come.

Giuliani is no longer in the race, you should remove his name.

Ron Paul 2008!

My first choice was Tom Tancredo, but he's gone

My next was Duncan Hunter, but he's gone.

Then Fred Thompson, but he's also gone.

So uh... you know, at this point I think I'll just register a Democrat so I can vote against Hillary in the primaries.

How is Ron Paul tied for the lead? Those 2 votes are almost as much as he got in some states!

Paul and then McCain. Paul would provide the US with a veto stamp for the next 4 years and possible reduction in other government programs, even though he would probably fail to get many of his own programs across. McCain just seems better than most of the other candidates as he seems more honest in wanting to reduce the government and seems to have some character given his historical position as a maverick republican.

My main objection to McCain is his hawkishness- look up "bomb bomb bomb Iran" on youtube. Romney and Huckabee I dislike for their "FairTax" proposal, which would trash the dollar and wreck our economy.

Well, most republicans have a crappy foreign policy from my perspective, the least we can do is try to get one that won't screw up the deficit more. I distrust the implementation of the FairTax as well.

I voted John McCain.

Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, and Ron Paul
are way too conservative for me.

Because Ron Paul is the only candidate worth voting for.

You, I believe, voted for Romney. At least, he was the only other person with a vote when I cast my vote for Paul, and I assume the thread originator was the first voter. Romney's FairTax proposal would screw our economy royally. Fortunately, we have nothing to fear from that as a flip-flopper like Romney will never fulfill his campaign promises.

Of these RINOs I would choose Huckabee. He is partially conservative, but still flip-flops like the rest of the RINOs.

I thought that the entire basis of Republican posturing was to prove that you were way more conservative than anyone else in the world? I don't think that I've heard a single Republican make the pitch: "You should vote for me because I am the least conservative of the lot."

And immediately after he said "get a life, you people are so dense"...

As it stands, McCain is the one I would vote for in the gop (if new jersey had open primaries... I'm registered as an independent)... maybe Paul could make a good VP. I may not agree with everything he says, but he's the only gop who's still in the race who's not pushing a religious agenda (iirc giuliani and paul withdrew from the race)

As for the dems, it's anyone but Hillary... I will never support anyone who supports Jack Thompson... so my choices are Obama and Obama...

ABC news called Ron Paul an insurgent. I think the NWO sees him as a threat so they had to get the media to group him with the terrorists.

"The Republican party's Super Tuesday survey of 21 states could be more a time for soul searching than celebrating for the scrappy, insurgent presidential campaign of Texas Rep. Ron Paul."
