China use child soldiers!

Not only does China execute more than 12.000 innocents each year, violate human rights over and over again, censor western media websites and kill innocent Tibetans, they also use child soldiers!

Are you sure they are not cub scouts? Of course, the scouting movement started as a paramilitary group, to train the scouts in scouting, camping, and marching. I learned how to fire a rifle in the Boy Scouts.

From the quote in the link.. fairly ambiguous dont you think? Sounds more like they spent the week doing it as some form of work experience field trip thing, rather than actually being indoctrinated into some juvenile wing of the Peoples Army, where they would be completely pointless because China has access to almost unlimited MANpower for its military.

Macbeth is right. China's people's army is pretty massive, there would be no point in child soldiers, besides, after the whole international outcry China's getting over the human rights issues would it not be completely harmful to openly have child soldiers. It would make no sense.

There are many 3rd world countries though that do use child soldiers, places in south-east asia (but not China), South Africa, and South America. And quite possibly in central european, former soviet satellite nations... Such as Bosnia, Croatia, etc.

Did you know chinese soldiers have just been sighted in Zimbabwe? Maybe china want to give the african child-soldiers a sporting chance.

Its well known that communist military officers have been in Africa for years as "advisors" and "observers", and it isn't chance that the chosen weapon of the african military (organised or otherwise) is a soviet design. It still doesnt change the fact that China has no need to field children as front line combat soldiers, or in fact use them at any level save for "boy scout."

China has NO shortage of Men for their army. Stop being silly, photo taken out of context 4 TEH LOSS.

hell if any country does not need to ever resort to use child soldiers its China.


Consider just the 20th century...

-They were in a very bloody civil war in the early 1920's.. estimated 15 million killed.
-The Japanese declared war on them WHILE they were in the middle of their civil war in the 1930's. Estimated deaths were about 5 million.
-By the end of WW2 in 1945, China had lost another 10 million.
-Communist revolution overtakes China, Mao's cronies kill an estimated 43 million during their purges.
-Korean War in the 1950's .. China loses another couple million against Allied forces in the Korean Penninsula.
-Cold War period / continuation of Communist cleansing - estimated 100 million deaths in the course of 30 years.

That is more combined than the population of most countries in the era... and still they had OVERPOPULATION problems.
