Well, there is a missing part of the Gospel of Mark that implies that Jesus was getting it on with another man.

no clue, the bible purposely makes him asexual in nature because, at the time, asexuality was considered divine or at least a sign of divinity.

now, of course, we can't entirely verify he's existed to begin with....but even with that, in order to fulfill the myth properly, he needs to be asexual.

I don't understand why people who don't believe in the Bible have this need for Jesus to be gay. Would Jesus have to be unequivocally gay for you to believe in Him?

What's next, Aspie Jesus? OCD Jesus?

I thought it might be interesting to ask this question since religion discriminates against gay and lesbian.

Maybe if jesus was found out to be gay or suspected of being gay, that might change some attitudes.

The sexuality of Jesus wasn't mentioned in the Bible due to its lack of relevance.

Relevance, people! :x

Although there is a suggestion that Jesus and Mary Magdelene were in a sexual relationship, still this doesn't add or take away from the Gospel that Jesus came to preach. Jesus did not come to advertize his sexuality or any sexuality in general. Is the idea of a gay Jesus repugnant and blasphemous? Yes. And the picture of Shaving Jesus? WTF? That does not offend me but it is confusing...

Get ye behind me, Satan.

He's been physically absent from this Earth for 2,000 years. Wait until He returns, then out Him. But no matter who you are, you must face Final Judgement. See you there.

Yeah his sexuality has nothing to do with the Gospel he came to preach. I don't care if people are gay or not, that is their business.

Say if Jesus was gay, would you still believe in him and except him?? (It may be a tough question for you to answer)

If you can't accept your lord Jesus Christ as a gay man, who can you accept?

But if I were already used to the idea of an asexual Jesus, yeah it would be hard to get my head around that. But no matter what, he's my Lord & Saviour. I don't think having the gay would have gotten Him off the hook with the Romans, though. 8O

No, I'm just saying that everyone get judged at the end of time. Everyone. This concept of answering for one's words and deeds is very egalitarian. That's why I like it.

Well that is how I feel about gay people. It doesn't matter if people are gay, they are still people and I accept them for who they are.

There is a difference between romantic love of another, and brotherly love. I know this difference from personal experiance to another female that didn't turn me on sexualy in the least. Sexuality is not why I deeply loved her. And yes, she was closer than family to me at the time. That kind of annoys me, to tell you the truth. This saying of general love as being sexual and nothing else.
