Would the country be better off to give Bush a 3rd term, or to let Obama, Clinton, or McCain try?
Hillary is running for her 3rd term. Why not Bush? 12%  12%  [ 4 ]
I would rather be the devil's towel boy than have Bush in office for 4 more years. 39%  39%  [ 13 ]
Obama, Clinton, and McCain are all more competent than Bush (cough) 42%  42%  [ 14 ]
If only we had had Adolf Hitler in the White House these past 8 years! ...mumblemumblemumble... 6%  6%  [ 2 ]

That got your attention! :D

No, I wasn't announcing a possibility of a third term for Bush.
Rather, I'm curious who'd want one if it were legal,
given the trio of disappointment whom we have currently running.

Considering how every Bush policy has nudged the country in one way or another towards disaster (of which the US public is quite aware) this can only be a troll

A "troll" is not merely someone who disagrees with your political opinions.
I know liberals like to demonize anyone who holds a different opinion than they do,
despite their ongoing chants of "tolerance" and faux promotions of same,
but to call me a troll because I believe Bush has proved more competence
than any of the current three major presidential candidates just makes yourself look foolish,
because it is a valid opinion.

I happen to think Bush has done an awful lot of good while in office.
I've gotten mad at him several times for not being a true conservative in his policies,
but the economy is doing fine, if you look at the actual numbers and not the
hyped, breathless media reports invented to sell newspapers and magazines.
The housing market, same exact situation. 0.6% of homes are up for foreclosure. Whoopee.
Yet the media scream, "Housing Market in Crisis!" and "Recession!"
 Yawn.

Honestly why would you consider that sort of rationale?

Now that's a wonderful indication of your mental capability. It saves me from getting further involved.

And here I was clutching to the futile hope that Ragtime still had at least one working brain cell .

Oh, my heavens, no! The liberal elitist -- she deigns to communicate with me!

(I don't like people who deign.)

That's right, expand on your ignorance, and dismiss an entire state as brain dead.

You really are quite funny!

Please, tell us what other delusions you suffer from.

"If I owned Texas and Hell, I would rent Texas and live in Hell” is a famous statement of U.S. General Philip Henry Sheridan in 1866.

Who knows, maybe he got his wish.
If so, I wonder if he regrets that choice.
There's a little dark Texas humor for you.
EDIT:
And say "Hi" to Finland for me, because I certainly
have no plans to visit that country.
I'd much rather vacation around Texas than there.
