I thought it was crazy too, at first.
But then I read that a very similar scarf is worn by celebrating terrorists as a symbol of what they do. If it really is such a deliberate symbol of terrorists, then I can understand the concern. But as it is a different scarf, I think that concern is overblown. I like Michele Malkin's writing (surprise!), but don't read it much because it's so nearly my exact train of thought, that there's little new for me there except certain hard data which I usually find elsewhere first. Ann Coulter is much more entertaining, as is Rush.
