I find the republican slogan about their party and who votes for them offensive.

"Working People Vote Republican"

It suggests that if you don't work, you're not a republican and that if you do work at all, you are.

My wife and I both work and we are not republican.

Some people who cannot work are republican.

I find myself offended by compliments not directed towards me. Every time someone is complimented and that person is not me, it implies that I don't have that quality. I think I am going to start beating people who compliment people who aren't me to death with a baseball bat.

Who said anything about these being the same? I just wanted to tell people about my baseball bat idea.

does my sigline suddenly read, "derail my posts"?

I know we're autistic but we're supposed to be "high functioning" dammit.

That's not an official slogan of the party. I've never heard any Republican advocate that. Do prove to us that the Republican Party on the whole supports that slogan, otherwise it's a complete non-issue.

I prefer an aluminum tee ball bat for that sort of thing, it really cuts down on the arm fatigue.

My ideal bat would be made out of lit dynamite because it explodes.

You are reading it wrong. It is "Working People ....... Vote Republican" It is an appeal, not a declarative sentence.
