now I am a Wiccan, not a very serious one-but I enjoy what it teaches, I am a vegetarian as well-its a choice I made and I am very healthy for making it. I don't smoke or do drugs (or drink)
I think Tarot Cards do things, not so much predict the future but help me make a few decisions a bit better
Saltandor is a God from my novel, that thread was a joke...though he does look like a Hydra lol
but there is one thing I don't do;
preach my beliefs to others!
I don't go around saying fur is murder, don't smoke, don't drink, Rhiannon is the one true Goddess! etc
because its not my place to do that
I spark up debates from time to time, but I am not trying to make anyone believe what I do (unless they ask)
but there is something I am sick of-everyone feeling if they disagree with someone, they gotta yak on and on about how they disapprove, like they know the f****n' person and have a right to say anything
it happens all the time-if someone here meets someone online, there'll be 5 pricks lining up by saying how they think that person is stupid for doing that, or how they don't believe in net relationships, or if there's a thread asking you what brand of smokes you enjoy-ohh lord there'll be a bunch saying "I don't like the ones that kill me" when they got no damn place in that thread
a lot of people on this forum like to say what they believe in, why they believe in it, and why you should too!
and no one can ever be happy for anyone! is it enough to ask for you to say-right on man, good on you, instead of "ohh that's a dumb idea", why'd you do that, etc
people have absolutely no good feelings towards others (and womder why no one likes them)
but there are 2 who really get to me; atheists and christians
they like to go on for hours about how the other one is wrong and why they should just dump everything they believe in because the other guy said so...
but here's what I think, and believe;

if someone really wants to know something about a religion, they should ask!
But these threads of "God doesn't exist", or blah blah blah Keen on Jesus-knowing full well they'll start something
is stupid
I have created like 2 threads in here
one about Wicca and one about Saltandor (who, I might add again is a God from a novel-that I wrote!)
I think people need to l keep their beliefs to themselves, and stop shoving their opinions down every bodies throat.
Because I'll tell you the truth-nobody cares!

Honest subjects like homosexuality-is understandable, and can be contained-but people going around looking for a fight is f*****g stupid (then complaining when everyone doesn't kiss their ass)

Being a Christian, I don't care what anyone else believes. By that, I mean let people believe what they want. If they want to believe in God, fine. If they don't, then that's fine too. I don't go around shoving it down people's throats, it's a waste of everyone's time. I could be doing something more productive like, I don't know, taking a dump maybe.

I do believe but what everyone else thinks is their own business.

It really doesn't do any good either way. People are going to believe what they do. Nothing wrong with it either way, I just don't like when people force it down peoples' throats. I may believe but I live however the hell I want to.

There are certain limitations to how much you can respect others' beliefs.

For example, I am opposed to teaching cretinism in public schools.
