That's true of basically every great mind throughout huistory... not that tuhey're all cokeheads, but that none of them have been particularly rational people. Humans aren't particularly rational by nature. Degreed professionals in R&D fields are expected to succeed at
no more than one in every fifth project for that very reason. The fact that a given individual happened to be coked out is just circumstantial, although it certainly doesn't help. In much more recent history, brain imaging studies have shown some correlations to Freud's theories... but again, that's not to say that "Freud was right" -- it's not nearly that simple -- it just can't be, because we're incapable of being that accurate. But what it does mean is that even people who are full o-shit most of the time are often still insightful.
