I once needed to prove exactly that point to a guy. What I failed to appreciate is that if X = time spent with me and Y = time spent with that woman from the gas station, then maybe X = 5Y makes for mathematical proof of girlfriendness. BUT, if Y = time spent having sex with that woman from the gas station, automatically X = 0 regardless of actual value of X. No, I never did get that.
