If you examine my opening pun again, you will see the idea behind it. To say that atheism has no prophets is to suggest that as a clade, they achieve little(non profitable). On the other hand, by nature of a pun, it also says they are a secular(no prophets) group.
"Gays are desirous of marriage banns" suggests that gays would harm the concept of marriage. On the other hand, a literal reading of that sentence says that they would like their marriages announced, made official.
