Here's the game: follow the rule of the previous poster, then make your own for the next.

Post whatever you like following the previous rule,
but you're free to phrase your rule in whatever manner you so desire.

The next poster is not allowed to use adjectives.

I think you just got check mate Sand in one move! Catch 22 at its finest.

New rule: Say something good about Christians and something good about atheists.

Wish granted, er not granted, er granted, not granted, granted, not granted *** POOF *** TallyMan explodes in a burst of logic.

The new rule is state something you believe that you cannot prove.

Jiddu Krishnamurti because he gave my mind a good enema! His teachings helped clear out lots of assumptions and beliefs I'd built up over the years and helped take my personal philosophy in a new direction.

New rule: Name someone who has had a profound effect on your personal philosophy and how.

Ralph Waldo Emerson was my first favorite philosopher, so like a first love, he influenced me the most during the most formative years. He inspired me to think for myself and to be true to my own conscience.

New rule: Make a statement that summarizes your philosophy and end your post with "Amen".

I wonder whatever happened to Idi Amen

Physicists more or less explain the four dimensional continuum as a more or less static reality.

New rule:Give a concise explanation as to why each of us has has the sense of living in a present that continuously changes.

It is simply how our consciousness perceives the fourth dimension, as in every moment of time the neurons in our brain are in a configuration that matches the temporal slice we are currently 'experiencing'. In reality, though, this sense of moving through time is completely illusory, however the configuration of our neurons is dictated by causality (hence memories) providing the illusion of a consciousness moving through time when in fact it is simply a consciousness smeared out across all time, and our awareness of the past consciousnesses but not the future is what gives rise to our perception of time's arrow.

New rule: You are not allowed to use the letter e.

If a thousand suns would burst similarly, that would do as a gracing of a mighty 1... I am going non-living, an original world-modification.

New rule: Go home.

Epic phail! Your new rule stipulation still counts as part of your post XD

I should have also added the stipulation that your sentence had to make sense. :P Awesome try, though.

Speaking of epic fail, you have neither followed the new rule nor made another one.

Oh! Another fish. Will it eat me or can I eat it?

New rule: State what book you would take with you if you were stranded on a desert island.

Either the Bible, or The Ego and It's Own by Max Stirner.

Ok, next rule, describe the relationship between truth and aesthetics, is truth beauty, or is there no relationship?
